Visa

According to the official guidelines provided by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) of Singapore, attendees must verify whether their nationality requires a visa to enter Singapore. Citizens of most countries may enjoy visa-free entry, but individuals from certain countries or regions are required to apply for an entry visa in advance. The visa type typically applicable for conferences, exhibitions, and business visits is the Short-Term Visit Pass. Applicants must prepare the following documents:

  1. Valid Passport: The passport must have a validity of at least six months.
  2. Visa Application Form: A completed Singapore visa application form (Form 14A), which can be downloaded from here.
  3. Photograph: A recent passport-sized photograph (white background, 35mm x 45mm).
  4. Invitation Letter: An official invitation letter from the event organizer, clearly stating the attendee’s identity, purpose of visit, and duration of stay.
  5. Travel Itinerary: Including confirmed flight reservations and hotel bookings.
  6. Proof of Financial Means: Such as bank statements or other documents showing financial capability.
  7. Additional Supporting Documents: Depending on individual circumstances, additional documents such as proof of employment or travel history may be required.

Visa Application Steps

  1. Visit the ICA website or submit your application through authorized visa processing agencies.
  2. Complete the application form, upload the necessary documents, and pay the visa application fee (typically SGD 30).
  3. Wait for processing, which generally takes 3–5 working days.

Important Note

All attendees are required to submit their health declaration via the Singapore Arrival Card (SG Arrival Card) electronic service within three days prior to their arrival. This can be completed through the official entry portal.

Ensure that your visa application is completed accurately to guarantee a smooth journey to Singapore for the conference. For more details, please visit here to check it.

Invitation Letter

A Letter of Invitation (from our organization) serves as proof that your paper submission and registration application have been accepted by the conference committee. The letter will be issued in English and may assist with your visa application, but please note that it does not guarantee the issuance of a visa.

Note

* Invitation letters will only be issued after your registration and payment have been completed, and they will be sent via email.
* For those requiring a visa, please be aware that the Organizing Committee has no control over the visa application process or the decision made by the visa adjudicator at the embassy or consulate. The conference is not responsible for the issuance of visas. The processing time varies for each individual, so you are strongly advised to start your visa application as early as possible.
* In the event of a visa denial, we cannot change the decision made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, nor will we engage in discussions or correspondence with the Ministry or Embassy on behalf of the applicant.
